Day 8 | Knowledge, Empathy, and Purposeful Action

Day 8 of the School for Young Leaders 2025 proved to be a truly transformative experience, offering participants a full day of reflection, learning, and forward-looking insight.

Transforming personal conviction into responsible political engagement and meaningful societal impact

The morning sessions were led by Robert Sterken, Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, USA. Through his lecture and workshop, participants explored the inner dimensions of leadership and the responsibility that comes with political and social influence.

These sessions invited participants to reflect on hope, inner peace, moral courage, and resilience, while examining how personal conviction can be transformed into meaningful and ethical action in the service of sustainable development.

Understanding human behavior, technology, and artificial intelligence as tools for growth, adaptation, and accelerated leadership development.

In the afternoon, the program shifted toward innovation, psychology, and technology with a dynamic lecture by Jakub Popluhar, Head of International Business Development at Mindworx and Consumer Psychology Trainer (SURF™ Method).

Equipping future leaders with essential financial knowledge for informed, responsible, and sustainable decision-making

The day concluded with an essential session on economic literacy, led by Ramazan AktaĹź, Director of the Continuing Education Center and Professor of Business Administration at TOBB ETĂś University.

📚 Lecture: “The Fundamentals of Finance”

This lecture provided participants with key financial principles every future leader should understand, reinforcing the importance of informed decision-making, sustainability, and economic responsibility.
