Day 7 | The 16th School for Young Leaders Officially Opens in Ohrid

After an inspiring online introduction, the 16th generation of the School for Young Leaders officially gathered in person in Ohrid, marking the start of the on-site program by the serene shores of Lake Ohrid.

The day began with warm welcomes and reunions as participants arrived at Hotel Inex Olgica, greeted by the organizing team and members of the alumni network—a true symbol of continuity, mentorship, and shared purpose within the School community.

To foster connection from the very first moment, participants were invited to introduce a new friend they met at the School, rather than themselves—an exercise that immediately encouraged openness, listening, and mutual understanding.

Leadership and Teamwork Workshop

The program continued with a powerful workshop led by Zoran Kostovski and Ranko Bezar from MOTIVA Management Education and Training Company, titled:

📚 “Building Teams, Shaping Futures: Leadership Skills for a Sustainable World”

Through interactive exercises and group dynamics, the session inspired participants to discover their inner leaders, strengthen collaboration, and explore the values that transform a group of individuals into a high-performing, purpose-driven team.

Evening Lecture: Learning Through Failure

In the evening, the energy reached its peak with an inspiring lecture by Petar Ninovski, CEO and Founder of Brainster, titled:

📚 “How to Fail in Life”

Through ten powerful examples of what not to do on the path to success, the lecture delivered a refreshing and honest perspective on leadership and personal growth. Participants were reminded that success is built by doing the exact opposite—by taking responsibility, daring to act, learning from setbacks, and never giving up.

Day 7 marked a strong and meaningful start to the in-person phase of the School, setting the tone for days filled with learning, connection, and leadership in action.
