Day 4 of the School for Young Leaders 2025 continued the group work assignment through a focused online session led by Filip Nelkovski.
Aligned with the overarching topic βGroup Work Assignment β Accountable policy-making process: How do decisions reflect sustainable development?β, the session centered on improving government performance, addressing corruption, and strengthening good governance as pillars of sustainable development.
Governance, Accountability, and Sustainable Growth
Participants explored the links between accountability, public institution building, poverty reduction, and sustainable growth, analyzing how policy decisions directly shape social trust and long-term outcomes. The session encouraged collaborative thinking, practical analysis, and policy-oriented approaches to complex governance challenges.
Day 4 reinforced the understanding that sustainable development cannot exist without transparency, responsibility, and strong institutions that serve citizens effectively.
