Day 3 | Leading with Purpose in a Digital Era
Day 3 of the School for Young Leaders 2025 featured an inspiring online lecture by Michael D. Dubie, Lieutenant General (Ret.) and former Deputy Commander of United States Northern Command.
Under the topic “Analog Leadership in a Digital World,” General Dubie explored what it truly means to lead with purpose, authenticity, and human connection in an era shaped by rapid technological change and digital transformation.
Drawing on his extensive leadership experience in military and strategic environments, he emphasized that while tools, systems, and technologies continue to evolve, the core principles of leadership remain unchanged—integrity, empathy, responsibility, and the ability to inspire and unite people around a shared mission.
The session offered participants valuable insights into navigating complexity, uncertainty, and constant change, while staying grounded in human values.
A powerful reminder that in the digital age, human leadership remains our greatest strength.
