A New World Is Taking Shape. What Change Will You Bring?
How do we lead in a world that keeps changing? How do we turn good ideas into solutions that improve people’s lives?
To mark the opening of the 17th School for Young Leaders, President Dr. Gjorge Ivanov reflects on this year’s theme, “New World, New Leadership and New Pragmatism,” and the role young people can play in shaping the future.
His message is clear: a new world is created by leaders with vision, whose ideas benefit the whole community. Turning those ideas into action takes a compass.
“New pragmatism is not a ready-made map that shows us the way, but a compass that points us in the right direction,” says Ivanov.
With so much of our lives unfolding online, he also raises a question that feels close to home: how can we bring the digital and analogue worlds together to live happier, more fulfilling and successful lives?
This is where our shared journey at this year’s School begins: with questions that challenge us, ideas worth exploring and the courage to take a concrete step forward.
