The Call for Participants is Now Open for the 17th School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov

The Call for Participants for the 17th School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov is officially open. Organized by the Cabinet of the former President of the Republic of Macedonia 2009–2019, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, together with the Ivanov School of Leaders – Alumni Association (ISLAA) and the International Center Alliance of Civilizations (ICAC), the School will be held under the general theme:

“New World. New Leadership. New Pragmatism.”

The 17th edition of the School will bring together young leaders from Macedonia and around the world for a unique educational and leadership development experience, focused on addressing contemporary global challenges and preparing a new generation of responsible, innovative, and forward-looking leaders.

Since its establishment in 2010, the School for Young Leaders has welcomed 625 participants from Macedonia and around 40 countries worldwide. Nearly 450 distinguished lecturers and speakers—including presidents, prime ministers, ministers, diplomats, academics, entrepreneurs, and experts from various fields—have contributed to the program over the past sixteen editions.

Structure of the Program

The 17th School for Young Leaders will be organized in three parts:

1. Mentorship Program (October 2026)
Participants will take part in an online mentorship program led by members of the School’s alumni community. The mentorship sessions will be organized directly between mentors and participants and will provide guidance, support, and preparation for the School.

2. Online Lecture Week (October 26–30, 2026)
A series of online lectures and discussions will be held on working days after 17:00 CET, featuring distinguished speakers and experts from Macedonia and abroad.

3. In-Person Program in Ohrid (November 1–8, 2026)
The final part of the School will take place at Hotel Inex Olgica in Ohrid and will include lectures, workshops, group projects, mentorship sessions, public speaking activities, and project presentations.

Who Can Apply

The Call is open to young people up to 35 years of age who have completed higher education, including graduates and professionals with work experience. The School welcomes applicants from Macedonia and abroad who demonstrate leadership potential, academic and professional excellence, and a commitment to contributing positively to society.
