Launch of the First Mentorship Program of the School for Young Leaders
The School for Young Leaders has officially launched its first-ever Mentorship Program, marking an important new chapter in the evolution of the School’s educational approach.
Initiated at the beginning of October 2025, the Mentorship Program is designed to run in parallel with the 16th edition of the School, concluding with the completion of the in-person program. The initiative aims to provide participants with personalized guidance, deeper reflection, and sustained support throughout their leadership journey.
A distinctive feature of this inaugural program is that the mentors are alumni of the School for Young Leaders—former participants who have previously completed the program and have since continued their professional and civic engagement in diverse fields. By returning to the School in the role of mentors, alumni contribute their experience, insight, and values, strengthening the culture of continuity and shared responsibility within the School community.
Through one-on-one and small-group mentorship, participants will engage with mentors who bring diverse professional experience and strong leadership values. The program places emphasis on self-awareness, responsible leadership, ethical decision-making, and the connection between personal values and societal impact.
Aligned with the overarching theme of the 16th School, “A Youth-Driven Agenda for a Sustainable World,” the Mentorship Program seeks to strengthen the practical and human dimensions of leadership education, complementing the School’s lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions.
As the first mentorship initiative in the history of the School for Young Leaders, this program represents a meaningful step toward fostering long-term relationships, intergenerational learning, and a more holistic leadership development process.
