Day 8 – 15th School for Young Leaders

Day 8 of the School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov was a powerhouse of leadership, strategy, vision and emotions.

The day kicked off with a lecture by David Goldsmith, Founder and Executive Director of Project Moon Hut Foundation and President of Goldsmith Organization. His talk, based on his bestselling book, encouraged us to think strategically, challenging us to reshape how we approach leadership and decision-making.

Next, we had the honor of hearing from Lieutenant General (retired) Michael D. Dubie, former Deputy Commander of the United States Northern Command. His wisdom on leading highlighted the importance of adaptability and the timeless qualities of leadership.

In the third session, Vasko Naumovski, university professor and former Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia for European Integration, delivered a powerful lecture. His experience as a diplomat and special envoy illuminated the delicate balance between ideals and real-world diplomacy.

The final lecture of the day was led by Prof. Dr. Ljubomir Kekenovski, Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University. His lecture gave us a deep dive into the intersection of economics, psychology, and peacebuilding.

We also had the incredible honor of hosting a Night Owl Session with renowned Macedonian filmmaker and director Tamara Kotevska and independent film & TV producer Jordanco Petkovski.

Through discussion and video materials, they presented their new project. This was a night of inspiration and magic that left us all in awe.
