Call for Participants in the 16th School for Young Leaders
The Call for Participants for the 16th edition of the School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov is officially open. This internationally recognized leadership program, initiated by former President of the Republic of Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, will be held during the first half of November 2025, and invites passionate, visionary, and committed young individuals to apply and become part of a transformative learning journey.
Over the past 15 editions, the School has brought together around 600 young leaders and hosted almost 400 distinguished lecturers — including presidents, ministers, diplomats, academics, entrepreneurs, and visionaries from across the globe.
Structure of the Program
The 16th School for Young Leaders will be held in three key phases: 1. Preparatory Phase – One month prior to the start of the School, selected participants will engage in online preparatory activities. These will include up to two sessions per week, held on working days after 17:00 CET, designed to introduce participants to the key themes and to help them connect before the formal start of the School. 2. Online Part – In the first part of the School, participants will attend a five-day online program consisting of lectures, discussions, and interactive activities. All sessions will be conducted on working days after 17:00 CET, making it accessible to both students and working professionals. 3. In-person part in Ohrid – The second part of the program consists of a seven-day, full-day program held at the Hotel Inex Olgica in Ohrid. Participants will engage in leadership seminars, group projects, public speaking activities, team challenges, cultural and diplomatic events, and presentations in front of a professional evaluation commission.
The School emphasizes values-based leadership, intercultural dialogue, and the development of skills for addressing global challenges. The program also provides a unique networking platform, connecting participants with mentors and peers who share a commitment to positive change.

The Call is open to national and international young leaders — students, young professionals, activists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries — who demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to their community, and a desire to grow both personally and professionally.
